Taurex Names Thomas Selby as Commercial Director for Africa and LATAM

Forex and CFD broker Taurex has announced the appointment of Thomas Selby as its new Commercial Director for Africa and Latin America, a move that highlights the broker’s increasing push into emerging markets.

Selby makes the move to Taurex from SquaredFinancial, where he spent the past two years as Chief Sales Officer. With more than 15 years in the online trading industry, his career began in the mid-2000s at FxPro and has since spanned a number of leading global brokers.

He went on to hold senior positions at firms such as OneRoyal, OctaFX and Exinity, where he spent eight years and rose to the role of Commercial Director. During his time at Exinity, Selby also led the Europe Desk and served as Global Head of Sales at FXTM and Alpari, building a reputation for driving growth across multiple regions.

At Taurex, Selby will play a central role in deepening relationships with institutional and retail clients across Africa and LATAM, regions seen as major growth opportunities for the industry.

The broker has also been expanding rapidly, launching its proprietary trading brand Atmos and reintroducing its institutional arm as Taurex Prime, offering liquidity and infrastructure solutions to brokers, hedge funds and prop firms.
