S&P Global Market Intelligence Launches ETF Intelligence Analytics Service

S&P Global Market Intelligence has introduced ETF Intelligence, a new analytics service designed to give market participants a clearer view of the rapidly expanding global ETF market.

The platform combines proprietary data, ETF analytics and market insights to help users analyse fund flows, sector trends, investment themes, liquidity, portfolio exposures, valuation and risk across the global ETF universe.

The launch comes as ETF markets continue to grow in both size and complexity. According to analysis from S&P Global Market Intelligence, assets in U.S. options-based ETFs rose from less than $5 billion in 2019 to $245 billion in 2025, highlighting the pace of investor demand and product innovation across the sector.

As ETFs become more sophisticated, investors and institutions increasingly require deeper transparency into how products are structured, how they behave, and what risks sit beneath the surface.

ETF Intelligence has been developed to address that need, offering coverage of more than 15,000 ETFs across major global markets. The service provides over 150 daily metrics across areas such as flows, performance, liquidity, volatility, benchmark comparisons and portfolio composition.
