CMC Markets Modernizes Payments with Paysafe Partnership
Key Takeaways
  • CMC Markets integrates Skrill and Neteller as its first digital wallet payment options through a new partnership with Paysafe.

  • Traders in the EEA, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and beyond can now fund and withdraw instantly via Skrill and Neteller.

  • The move marks a major shift from CMC’s traditional banking-only payments approach, expanding flexibility for clients globally.

CMC Markets, one of the world’s leading online trading brokers, has taken a big step in modernizing its payments model. The company has partnered with Paysafe to introduce Skrill and Neteller as its first digital wallet and alternative payment methods (APMs) for clients across the EEA, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and other global markets (excluding the UK and US for now).

For decades, CMC relied primarily on traditional banking channels for deposits and withdrawals. By integrating Skrill and Neteller, the broker now gives traders faster and more flexible ways to move funds in and out of their accounts.

Whether trading forex, indices, shares, commodities, or treasuries, CMC clients can now fund their accounts instantly with Skrill or Neteller and withdraw seamlessly. Once money is in the digital wallet, traders can send it to a bank account, card, another APM, or even re-use it for new trades with CMC.

The partnership also opens the door to future expansion. Skrill and Neteller are already available in 130 countries, and both companies confirmed plans to extend coverage into Latin America while exploring other APM integrations.

Rob Gatto, Chief Revenue Officer at Paysafe, highlighted the alignment between the two firms:

“We’re delighted to partner with a financial trading broker as prestigious and well-established as CMC Markets, which has over 35 years’ industry experience. Our digital wallets also have a long history serving the online trading community and are very popular with traders, so we look forward to facilitating transactions for new and existing customers of CMC Markets, as well as expanding the partnership into other global markets.”

Alexander Praill, Head of Payment Services at CMC Markets, added:

“This exciting partnership with Paysafe will be instrumental in delivering a consistent and cohesive payments experience to our clients. Considering Skrill and Neteller’s global popularity, with millions of users worldwide, and their long association with online trading, this integration is particularly impactful. Traders will now be able to make payments and withdrawals using their preferred medium, giving them the freedom to trade their way and strengthening our customer-centric approach.”

With the move, CMC joins a growing list of brokers recognizing that the modern trader values speed, convenience, and choice just as much as spreads or platforms. For traders, it means fewer barriers and more control over how they fund and access their accounts.
