Blueberry Enters the World of Sports Sponsorship with SailGP Partnership
  • Blueberry becomes Official Online Trading Partner of the Bonds Flying Roos, Australia’s SailGP team.
  • The partnership aligns Blueberry with a global, high-performance sport to boost brand exposure and client engagement.
  • Clients will gain access to exclusive SailGP experiences as Blueberry expands globally.
  • Deal debuts at the 2025 Abu Dhabi Sail Grand Prix, wrapping up a transformative year for the broker.

Australian online broker Blueberry, formerly Blueberry Markets, has announced its first major move into the sports world by becoming the Official Online Trading Partner of the Bonds Flying Roos, Australia’s leading SailGP team. This multi-year partnership will see Blueberry’s branding appear on the team’s high-speed F50 catamarans, technical gear, and digital platforms.

The move is part of Blueberry’s global growth strategy, aligning the brand with an elite sport that shares core values of precision, performance, and strategy, all qualities essential to both trading and competitive sailing.

The partnership offers unique exposure through the Rolex SailGP Championship, a fast-growing, high-octane sailing league with races across 11 countries and a $2 million winner-takes-all grand final prize. The team is led by Olympic gold medalist Tom Slingsby and now counts Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman among its co-owners, adding star power and international appeal.

Clients of Blueberry will gain access to exclusive experiences at global SailGP events, as the broker focuses on experience-led activations rather than traditional sponsorship models.

Dean Hyde, CEO of Blueberry, commented:

“Our partnership with the Bonds Flying Roos marks a major milestone for Blueberry as we expand our global footprint. As a proud Australian brand, we’re thrilled to team up with one of Australia’s most successful and dynamic sporting outfits. The Bonds Flying Roos constantly demonstrate dedication, determination, and an unrelenting will to win, values we share at Blueberry.”

Tom Slingsby, CEO and driver of the Bonds Flying Roos, added:

“The Flying Roos are driven by performance and the pursuit of being the best in everything we do. In 2025, we are welcoming new partners who share that same mindset. We’re delighted to have Blueberry join the family, a brand that shares our values of ambition, precision, and performance.”

Blueberry’s debut appearance with the team will take place at the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Sail Grand Prix 2025 Grand Final, from November 29–30, where the team will compete for the championship title.

The partnership caps off a landmark year for Blueberry, which has rolled out new platforms like TradingView and cTrader, launched a refreshed brand identity, and expanded into new markets.
