Neex has obtained a Category 5 licence from the UAE Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA).
The licence encompasses regulated activities such as promotion and introduction in the UAE.
It follows the opening of Neex’s Dubai representative office in 2024
Online trading broker Neex has announced that it has officially been granted a Category 5 licence by the UAE’s Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA). The licence gives the broker permission to conduct promotion and introduction activities, allowing it to build on its growing presence in the Middle East.
The news was shared on Neex’s official LinkedIn page, where the broker described the achievement as an important step in its journey.
Neex offers trading on contracts for difference (CFDs) across multiple asset classes, including forex, commodities and indices. According to their website, the broker operates through various licensed entities in South Africa, Mauritius, Saint Lucia and Australia.
This latest development comes just a year after Neex opened its representative office in Dubai, laying the foundation for its Middle East expansion. By securing its Category 5 licence, the broker now strengthens its ability to operate under the country’s respected regulatory framework.
For Neex, the licence marks both a regulatory milestone and a signal of its long-term commitment to the region’s fast-growing trading community.
