This is our professional review of the online trading broker, Equiti, for traders and investors in the UAE. This UAE Equiti review 2025 takes a detailed look at one of the UAE’s most well-known brokers, comparing them with others in the industry. We look at specific aspects like Equiti’s platforms, regulations and features, and how these points impact traders in the UAE.
Branded as the UAE’s global broker, we find overall that Equiti UAE is a trustworthy broker that is suitable for CFD trading at the slightly more advanced level. The broker has a strong reputation in the UAE offering CFDs on shares, forex, commodities and more with leverage up to 1:500.
At the same time, we find that forex trading with Equiti comes with a high initial deposit and no 24/7 support, something you may want to consider if you trade on weekends.

Equiti clients in the UAE can trade CFDs across a range of markets, including:
Let’s discuss the Equiti trading fees you should be aware of. The trading fees you pay with Equiti will depend on your account type.
Standard account – Equiti spreads start from 1.4 pips for major forex pairs. This account comes with 0% commission.
Premier account – Spreads for the Premier account start much lower from 0.0 pips. However, this account charges commission of USD $70.00 per USD 1 million on forex and USD $7.00 per 1 lot round turn on Metals.
This means that for forex trades, the commission is $70 per $1 million traded. This means if you trade $100,000 (0.1 lots), the commission would be $7, and if you trade $10,000 (0.01 lots), the commission would be $0.70. For metals (like gold or silver), the commission is $7 per lot for a full trade (opening and closing the position). So if you trade 1 lot of gold, you’ll pay $3.50 when opening the trade and $3.50 when closing it, totaling $7.
Traders should also be aware of swap-fees that are charged on trading positions held past 20:45 GMT. Traders can apply for a swap-free account after opening an account by contacting the Equiti UAE client support team. However Equiti does charge expensive administration fees to offset this cost.
Equiti also charges a monthly inactivity fee after 180 days of inactivity.
As part of this Equiti review, we also look in detail at the broker’s funding options. Deposits and withdrawals with Equiti are streamlined quite well, ranking them an overall 9.2 out of 10.
Deposits
With Equiti, you can choose to fund your trading account via multiple various methods, including the following:
Deposits are fast, and traders will find the minimum initial deposit to be slightly higher than other brokers at $500 for the Standard Account and $3,000 for the Premium account.
Supporting eWallet deposits is a great addition, however traders in the UAE should note that Equiti demands a minimum amount of $50 to be transferred at any time.
Withdrawals
Withdrawals on Equiti are available via the same methods as deposits. Equiti does not charge any fees for card withdrawals, but withdrawals via eWallets may cost 1% per transaction.
Neteller and Skrill withdrawals are processed within one business day. Wire transfers can take 3-5 business days and payment cards between 5-14 days.
Our Equiti review finds that they specialize in offering the standard MT4 and MT5 platforms. Since these platforms are widely known in the online trading community, they don’t need much introduction. However you should note that while these platforms have been around for a while, they are regarded as the gold standard for forex and CFD trading, offering additional features such as automated trading, advanced order types and technical indicators that can assist your trading.
The Equiti trading platform has also added some extra valuable add ons to give its UAE clients a trading edge. Equiti traders can access a News Sentiment feature to spot trading opportunities, along with a Dow Jones Newswire, Market Data, Analytical Tools and full Economic Calendar powered by Acuity.
Equiti features 2 different account types for UAE clients. One for beginner traders and one for advanced.
Standard Account
This account is best for beginner traders in the UAE. Key highlights of this account are as follows:
Equiti’s Standard Account is designed for traders looking for a simple, commission-free trading experience. Instead of charging commissions, Equiti includes the trading costs within the spreads, which start from 1.4 pips for this account. While this makes fee calculation straightforward, the spreads are slightly wider compared to commission-based accounts. The minimum deposit requirement is $500, making it accessible to most traders.
Leverage is up to 1:400, meaning traders have flexibility in position sizing, though high leverage carries risk. This account is best suited for beginner or casual traders who prefer a straightforward cost structure without commission-based pricing.
Premiere Account
This account is best for more active traders who have individual requirements. Spreads can go as low as 0.0 pips, but instead of a spread markup, traders pay a $35 commission per million traded. While this commission model can reduce overall trading costs for active traders, it only makes financial sense if you’re trading large volumes regularly. Key highlights of this account are as follows:
Equiti also offers swap-free accounts for those looking to trade without the associated interest fees known as ‘swaps’.
All accounts also support the following currencies: USD, GBP, EUR, and AED.
For those looking to test before they invest, Equiti also allows traders to open a demo account that doesn’t use real funds. This option allows traders to test the waters before investing with real money.
Equiti Research Tools
We score Equiti highly when it comes to the research tools they provide clients with. Equiti offers leading trading analysis available to clients via the third-party tool called Acuity Trading. Acuity offers reliable trading signals across forex pairs, stocks, commodities, indices and cryptocurrencies, providing key levels and commentary.
These signals are updated daily by Acuity’s team of pro analysts and have an approximate 50% win rate. They also provide traders with sentiment analysis, an economic calendar, and more.
Equiti Educational Tools
Equiti features a learning page dedicated to trading education. It provides a variety of tools to aid beginner traders in becoming skilled and experienced. Equiti’s educational page offers the following:
In our evaluation of Equiti’s education, it’s not the most user friendly and isnt updated on a regular basis. For this reason we find that Equiti’s educational material is not as strong as other brokers.
Equiti has multiple regulated entities around the world including the UK, Jordan and the UAE, and are licensed by some of the most reliable regulatory bodies globally.
As well as being regulated by the FCA in the UK, which is generally a great safety indicator, Equiti is present locally in the UAE and regulated by the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA).
On the subject of safety, our Equiti broker review finds that the broker holds clients’ funds in segregated accounts and also offers protection of client funds up to $50,000 per account.
All of these points support Equiti’s excellent reputation in the industry, making them a highly safe broker to trade with in the UAE.
Equiti offers 24/6 customer support to its clients and were found to be super friendly and helpful from our research and testing. The Equiti support team can be contacted in the following ways to solve any trading or account issues you may encounter.
1. Email – support@equiti.com
2. Phone – See the broker’s Contact Us Page for the region specific number
3. Live chat – available as a pop up on the right bottom corner of the website.
To summarize our Equiti broker review, Equiti is a highly reputable and regulated forex broker in UAE. It accommodates beginner and advanced traders, however with the slightly more complex MT4 and MT5 platforms and higher than average minimum deposit amount of $500, we recommend Equiti for serious traders that already have some knowledge and understanding of online trading. Overall Equiti is recommended for:
1. MT4/MT5 traders
2. CFDs and forex and crypto
3. EA/Automated trading
4. Personalized customer support
5. MAM accounts
