Yes, Exness is fully legal in the UAE. Exness operates through a locally licensed entity – Exness MENA Financial Brokers L.L.C – which holds an active CMA licence, CP-0001100, as a trading broker of OTC derivatives and currencies in the spot market. The CMA is the UAE mainland regulator that replaced the former SCA on 1 January 2026.
Exness is not DFSA-regulated. It does not operate from inside the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) under the DFSA’s framework. Those are two separate regulatory bodies covering different parts of the UAE. For most retail traders in the UAE, Exness is a legitimate and locally licensed option.
If you specifically want a broker under DFSA oversight – with DIFC court access and DFSA-specific client protections – then a dedicated DFSA-licenced broker is the better fit.
